I admit to creating a new name for this Celosia, because it needed one – even its Latin name is in dispute, and common names lump it together with different flower forms. Brainiac is all brain- shaped – 6” flower heads with convoluted folds, mainly in bi- color combinations of red and white or yellow. Flowers are long-lasting in the garden, in the vase, and as dried arrangements.
