NEW for 2022!
This valuable liver tonic is offered here with a disclaimer: yellow dock is truly an invasive weed, so plant it with discretion. The smallest piece of root remaining in the soil when the root is harvested will grow another plant, and thousands of viable seeds are produced every year. That said, if you plant in a permanent spot and vow to cut seed stalks before they ripen in perpetuity, you’ll have a lifetime supply of the iron-rich root, with the ornamental bonus of the tall rust-red flower stalks in late summer.
