Once wildly popular but now all but forgotten, 4 O’Clocks still bring brilliant color to garden beds all summer. Flowers come in pink, magenta, yellow, white, and a striped yellow/red version, on 2-3’ tall plants. They open in late afternoon – hence the name – and last for several days. Technically a tender perennial but grown as an annual in every zone below 9.
