tomatillo ripens round golden
¾” sweet fruits enclosed in
papery husks. Its popularity in
different regions has given
rise to many names: ground
cherry, goldenberry, Cape
gooseberry, uchuva, uvilla,
aguamanto. We like its
Hawaiian name, Poha. Drott’s
is an especially sweet variety.

So far I’ve gotten good germination results. Fingers crossed they’ll produce lots of fruit!
