The Baby Butternut is a slightly miniaturized but very productive winter squash, making it more manageable both in the garden and in the kitchen. Vines sprawl a mere ten feet, and fruits are 2-5 lbs. Smooth tan skin covers deep orange flesh that stays moist and creamy without getting watery. Fabulous flavor just gets sweeter in storage. Small seed cavity.
Baby Butternut was the clear taste test winner in our 2017 trial of 10 butternut squash varieties. Way better flavor than Waltham, the standard butternut available in stores.

Seeds arrived safely and in good condition. The seed was clean and free of defects. Nice amount of seed too. I must say the seeds are about 1/2 to 1/3 the size of the butternut seed from my garden last year, That’s probably to be expected as these are baby butternuts. Very excited to try them
