This fabulous Italian-American heirloom is the one paste tomato we have found that tastes as good fresh as any heirloom beefsteak. Truly. Indeterminate plants grow heavy vines that need sturdy support. Medium-to-large elongated fruits with pointy ends are meaty with few seeds.
The story of the name: New York tomato collector Andrew Rahart got it from an Italian market gardener. When asked the variety, the grower replied, “It’s-a my-own-a.”

Wow, this popped up first. I can't wait to see what it produces. I gave 3 away to friends. I think everything sprouted!
