The classic basil for Italian cuisine, in a sturdy vigorous shrublet. Plants are larger and more spreading than Profumo, while the taste is interchangeable. Keep pinching back to have fresh basil leaves all summer long. For convenient winter use, freeze pesto in ice cube trays, and dry leaves for the spice shelf. There’s never too much pesto!

Arrived quickly. Put some seeds in a pot and placed in our little greenhouse. They came up quickly. Replanted into the outside garden. Will see how they do in the next few days.
