Fever is an open-hearted romaine with leaves that shade from rosy tips through bronze to bright lime green centers. Early vigor makes it an especially good choice for the first spring plantings. Heat tolerant and fairly bolt resistant, it performs well up to the edge of the hottest summer weather. Bred by the second-generation plant adventurers at Peace Seedlings.
