Perennial sorrel is a modest
little mound of a plant that
packs a lot of intense lemony
flavor into its succulent arrowshaped
leaves. It grows right
through our warmer winters,
and in colder climates is one
of the first greens to appear in
spring. It’s especially high in
vitamins A and C, and in
potassium. Great zesty salad
addition, and famous for
soups and sauces.

Haven't planted them yet, but I'm hopeful they'll grow nicely. Took a while to get them also thru snail mail but I wasn't in a hurry either.

The germination was successful. I’m hoping the seedlings will survive in onslaught of summer heat and insects.

I planted the seeds rather late in the season, so the leaves aren't ready to harvest yet, but the plant is healthy and growing!
