These plants look and behave like vigorous and productive tomatillos until the finale of the fruits: yellow, elongated, often with a waist and tapered end, and at their best eaten raw. Crunchy, tangy and sweet, they make a fabulous tropical salsa, as well as a refreshing snack eaten out of hand like an apple. An heirloom from the Mexican village of Malinalco.

Approx. 50 seeds per packet
Grown in Potter Valley, Mendocino County, California
Certified Organic by CCOF
Open-pollinated, non-GMO

The seeds arrived quickly. Thanks!

The only Tomatillo I buy now! Can be eaten off the plant with great taste and still use them for salsa.
