The story is that this bean was
discovered in the early 1900s
in the Anasazi cliff dwelling
ruins of the SW. The name is
a Navajo word that means
“the Ancient Ones”. Similar to
pinto beans in size, shape,
and speckled coloring, but
with 75% less of the gas-producing
compounds in pinto
beans. Very productive, even
in short seasons and under
stressful weather conditions.
If what you want is to eat the beans without growing them first, please look elsewhere.

Packaged nicely. I haven't planted them yet, so I will have to wait to see how it grows. :)

Based on price, I expected 2 pounds of seeds, not 2 little envelopes. These can be bought cheaper in a grocery store! I am very disappointed.
